For the Hobbit fandom, 'Elrond and Lindir' and 'Thranduil and Thranduil's Deer' are currently under book fandom, but Lindir and Thranduil's Deer are movie-only characters.

Lindir is in the books as well. Only a brief mention, if I recall correctly, but the character is mentioned by that name. A Rivendell Elf.

Edit: The books I mean are LotR, though, not Hobbit. So in that sense you are right. :) The movies borrow a lot from LotR so I often forget where the line goes. For me they're just bookverse and movieverse.

Yeah, he's the one listening to Bilbo in the Hall of Fire in LOTR. Maybe Elrond and Lindir can go under LOTR book, (unless the nominator meant the Hobbit movie version of the character) and Thranduil and Deer can move to Hobbit movie?

Technically, Galadriel, Radagast, and Legolas don't appear in the Hobbit book either (though Radagast is mentioned once), so if those two groups are moved then for the sake of consistency, these three groups should also probably be moved to LOTR - books or Hobbit movieverse:

Galadriel | Artanis & Gandalf | Mithrandir (Hobbit - book)
Gandalf | Mithrandir & Radagast | Aiwendil (Hobbit - book)
Legolas & Thranduil (Hobbit book)

However, I don't personally see it as a problem if they stay under Hobbit books, if people are intending to write or request a bookverse version of the characters.

Okay! Thranduil's deer is definitely only in the movies, though.
